A system includes a treatment planning device (108) that facilitates at least one of creating or adapting a treatment plan for a patient based on amounts or concentrations of a set of serum polypeptides of the patient that indicate a high risk of or an early radiotoxicity of the patient to radiation from radiotherapy.
