The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition useful for topical administration, comprising as active ingredients proanthocyanidins in the form of complexes with phospholipids in an amount of from 0.01 to 0.1%, glycyrrhetinic acid in an amount of from 0.1 to 5%, telmesteine in an amount of from 0.01 to 1% and at least one compound selected from alpha-bisabolol, zinc pidolate, allantoin, piroctone olamine with a suitable carrier such as herein described and other optional ingredients.
