The invention relates to a method of treating erythema and/or telangiectasia associated with rosacea in a patient in need thereof by topically administering an effective amount of a combination of brimonidine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and oxymetazoline or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof to the site of erythema and/or telangiectasia on the skin of the patient.
