PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus which can perform X-ray imaging in otorhinolaryngology without giving an oppressive feeling or the like to an examinee.SOLUTION: This invention comprises: a turning arm 5 which possesses an X-ray irradiating part 51 and an X-ray detecting part 52 which are mutually arranged opposite to a head part of an examinee O, and turns around the examinee a holding frame 4 which holds the turning arm 5 a supporting body 3 which supports the holding frame 4 a horizontal frame 6 which is attached to the supporting body 3 and an examinee holding part 7 which is provided on the tip part of the horizontal frame 6 and supports the examinee at the prescribed imaging position.
