PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic method for effectively treating and / or preventing a disease related to a cell expressing CLDN18.2, particularly a cancer disease such as gastroesophageal cancer. We present data demonstrating that administration of anti-CLDN18.2 antibody to human patients with gastroesophageal cancer is safe and well tolerated up to a dose of at least 1000 mg / m2.
