PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure measuring apparatus which does not comprise a special sensor separately and does not require time irrespective of onset of arrythmia.SOLUTION: The blood pressure measuring apparatus comprises a first distinction means to distinguish whether the waveforms of both pulses are almost the same or not by comparing two continuous pressure pulses detected by a pressure pulse detection means under the same cuff pressure a second distinction means to distinguish whether predetermined conditions corresponding to arrythmia are met by comparing predetermined parameters of both the pulses and a pressure pulse detected immediately before both the pulses when the waveforms of both the pulses are not distinguished to be almost the same a decision means to decide both the pulses as pulse waves to be used for blood pressure calculation when the waveforms of both the pulses are distinguished to be almost the same by the first distinction means and to decide the three pressure pulses as pulse waves to be used for blood pressure calculation when the predetermined parameters of the three pressure pulses are distinguished to meet the predetermined conditions by the second distinction means and a blood pressure calculation means to calculate blood pressure from pulse waves to be used for blood pressure calculation decided by the decision means.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】特別なセンサを別途備えず、不整脈発生に拘らず、時間を要しない。【解決手段】同一カフ圧力下において圧力パルス検出手段により検出された連続した2個の圧力パルスの波形形状を比較し、両パルスの波形形状がほぼ同一であるか否かを判別する第一判別手段と、該第一判別手段により両パルスの波形形状がほぼ同一であると判別されない場合、両パルスの直前に検出された圧力パルスおよび前記両パルスの所定のパラメータを比較して不整脈に相当する所定の条件に合致するか否かを判別する第二判別手段と、前記第一判別手段により両パルスの波形形状がほぼ同一であると判別された場合、両パルスを血圧算出に使用する脈波と決定し、前記第二判別手段により前記3個の圧力パルスの所定のパラメータが前記所定の条件に合致すると判別された場合、3個の圧力パルスを血圧算出に使用する脈波として決定する決定手段と、該決定手段によって決定された血圧算出に使用する脈波に基づいて血圧を算出する血圧算出手段とを備えた。【選択図】図1
