PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately specify the kind of activity by an active meter.SOLUTION: The active meter measures the number of steps whenever a period TA elapses based on the output of detection by an acceleration sensor. The active meter detects the amplitude of difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of the output of detection by the acceleration sensor on each "section representing the change of signals according to the body motion of one step". Whether the body motion of one step, the target of processing, is caused by walking or caused by running is specified based on whether the detected amplitude is at least a threshold v or not.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】活動量計においてより正確に活動種類を特定する。【解決手段】活動量計では、加速度センサの検出出力に基づいて、期間TAが経過する毎に、歩数の計測が行なわれる。そして、各「1歩の体動による信号の変化を表わす区分」について、加速度センサの検出出力の最大値と最小値の差の振幅が検出され、当該振幅がしきい値v以上であるか否かによって、処理対象となっている1歩分の体動が、歩行によるものか走行によるものかが特定される。【選択図】図4
