PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire capable of easily performing shaping that matches the shape of a target region in a living body.SOLUTION: A guide wire includes a core material 10 whose tip part has a region in which shaping is possible, and a contrast member 20 that surrounds the tip part of the core material and has a marker part that serves as an index when shaping the core material.
