The mowing finger arrangement has an upper part which is connected with a lower part for forming a mowing finger. A blade slit (15) is formed for guiding a mowing blade (16) between the lower part and the upper part. The upper part has a projection (11) as a stop for a rear section of the mowing blade, where the rear section is considered in a working direction. The projection is formed on a side of the upper part facing the lower part. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a mowing finger； and (2) a sickle bar with knife blades.
