A double-ended blower comprises a blower motor assembly (M) supporting opposedfirst (258) and second (260) shaft ends, the first (258) and second (260) shaftends having respective first (244) and second (248) impellers attached theretoand enclosed within first (247) and second (251) volutes, respectively, whereinthe first volute (247) is connected to an inlet (264) and the second volute (251)is connected to an outlet (276). The blower motor assembly (M) at least partiallyenclosed within a flexible sleeve (272), with a radially outer inter-stage gaspath extending between the first (247) and second (251) volute, and radiallyinward of the flexible sleeve (272).
