The invention relates to a hearing protector (100) comprising: - a rigid plug (102) intended to be placed in the ear of the wearer and having a first housing (202), - a rigid insert (104) which has a first part (108) inserted into the first housing (202) and a second portion (110) emerging from the plug (102), said first portion (108) having male securing means (206) cooperating with female means fasteners disposed in said first housing (202) for securing the rigid insert (104) in the plug (102), and said second portion (110) having a second housing (210) which opens to the outside, a handle (106) fixed on the second part (110), and an attenuation element intended to attenuate the noise level of the noises and to fit into said second housing (210).
