The present invention provides a device for applying pressure to a wearer of the device, that includes a band adapted for positioning on the wearer, an orb positioned on the band, and a mechanism for selectively varying the length that the orb extends outward from said band. The mechanism includes a dial that is mounted to the orb for user initiated selective rotation about its central axis. By rotating the dial, the orb moves towards or away from the band, thereby decreasing or increasing, respectively, the amount of pressure it will apply to the wearer.Linvention concerne un dispositif permettant dexercer une pression sur le porteur du dispositif, qui comporte une bande conçue pour se poser sur le porteur, un globe posé sur la bande, et un mécanisme qui permet de faire varier sélectivement la longueur que le globe étend hors de ladite bande. Ledit mécanisme comporte un cadran monté sur le globe que lutilisateur fait tourner de manière sélective autour de son axe central. En tournant le cadran, le globe se déplace vers, ou séloigne de la bande, réduisant ou augmentant ainsi la pression qui sera exercée sur le porteur.
