PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for measuring a momentum are provided to accurately measure the momentum by considering a gradient on a moving path of a user.CONSTITUTION: An acceleration sensor(210) measures a momentum by corresponding to a fast speed and a slow speed and outputs a first sensing signal corresponding to a running speed. An atmospheric sensor(220) outputs a second sensing signal including information about atmospheric pressure. A first communication module(230) transmits the first sensing signal and the second sensing signal to the outside. A power source(240) supplies power to the acceleration sensor, the atmospheric sensor, and the first communication module.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012본 발명의 목적은 가속도 센서와 대기압 센서를 이용하여 보다 정밀한 운동량을 측정할 수 있도록 하는 운동량 측정장치 및 그를 이용한 운동량 측정방법을 제공하는 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 운동량측정장치는 움직임에 대한 정보에 대응하는 제1센싱신호와 대기압 정보에 대응하는 제2센싱신호를 수신하는 제2통신모듈, 제1센싱신호와 제2센싱신호를 이용하여 움직임에 대한 정보와 대기압의 변화를 파악하고 운동량을 측정하는 제어부 및 측정된 운동량을 표시하는 디스플레이부를 포함한다.
