The present invention relates to a method for the treatment of tuberculosis, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof, a therapeutically effective amount of the compound of Formula I or the compound of Formula Ia, or its isomer(s), a tautomer, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or a solvate thereof.
