A device for retaining a persons foot in a flexed position, comprising tensioning means for raising the front end of a shoe (13) worn on the foot towards a gaiter consisting in particular of a band (4) arranged around the corresponding leg (18). Said tensioning means consist of a strap (1) arranged such that it extends symmetrically from an attachment point at the front end of the shoe (13) to two facing points on the sides of the gaiter, on either side of the axis of the shoe (13). From these points, the strap (1) loops on itself to be fastened at the front of the leg (18).Linvention concerne un dispositif de maintien en flexion du pied dune personne, qui comporte des moyens tenseurs pour relever lavant dune chaussure (13) portée sur le pied vers une guêtre, notamment constituée dune bande (4), se disposant autour de la jambe correspondante (18). Les moyens tenseurs sont constitués par une sangle (1) qui se dispose en sétendant symétriquement à partir dun point de fixation à lavant de la chaussure (13) vers deux points de la guêtre latéralement opposés de part et dautre de laxe de la chaussure (13). Depuis ces points, la sangle (1) vient se fermer en boucle sur elle-même sur la face avant de la jambe (18).
