PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope capable of improving the quality of an image with an infrared light component added thereto.SOLUTION: The endoscope comprises: a color separation prism for separating light from a subject into a plurality of light components including light of three primary colors and infrared light; a plurality of image sensors for transforming optical images of the plurality of separated color components into electrical signals; and an output device for outputting transformed electrical signals.
