PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cosmetic compositions for strengthening and/or repairing keratin fiber, particularly enhancing dynamic properties of the keratin fiber, reducing solubility of the keratin fiber in aqueous alkaline solution, and/or reducing extraction of protein from the keratin fiber, and to provide methods for using the cosmetic composition.SOLUTION: The invention provides cosmetic compositions containing at least one kind of specific triazine-based compounds or a salt thereof, and methods for using the compositions.
