A pan system may have a closed configuration and an open configuration toselectivelyrelease a food product. The system comprise a base portion having a sidewallconnected to abottom with an opening, a removable portion configured to span the opening,and an attachmentconfigured to releasably secure the removable portion relative to the baseportion in the closedcondition and selectively release the removable portion from the base portionin the opencondition. The base portion and removable portion may be configured to containthe foodproduct in the closed condition and separate to release the food product fromthe base portion inthe open condition.
