ABSTRACT System and method for machine-learning based segmentation of prostate from Magnetic Resonance Images� The embodiments herein disclose a method for machine-learning based segmentation of a prostate from Magnetic Resonance Images (MRIs). The method includes preprocessing the MRIs images. Further, the method includes estimating at least one location of the prostate in the MRIs based on machine-learning. Furthermore, the method includes determining a plurality of sparse segmentations using at least one sparse graph and constructing a segmentation map of the prostate by taking ensemble of the plurality of sparse segmentations.
