A method of examining breast tissue of a patients breast using a mammography machine including the steps of manipulating the patients breast so that at least a portion of the patients breast is positioned for examination by the mammography machine, the manipulation being facilitated by a skin adhesive agent comprising a quaternary ammonium compound, and examining the breast tissue of the positioned patients breast using the mammography machine.
