The present invention relates to a method of producing an environmentally friendly material using silica sand sludge capable of producing an environmentally friendly material such as a deodorant and an antibacterial material by using silica sand sludge generated as a byproduct in the glass manufacturing process. The production method is characterized in that silica sand sludge is coated with a deodorizing coating agent having an adsorption capability to produce a silica sand sludge deodorant and at the same time, the iron chloride ion (Fe 3+ ) contained in the silica sand sludge is removed and replaced.본 발명은 유리 제조 과정에서 부산물로 발생하는 규사 슬러지를 이용하여 소취제, 항균제 등의 친환경 소재를 생산할 수 있는 규사 슬러지를 사용한 친환경소재 생산 방법에 관한 것으로서, 위한 본 발명에 따른 규사 슬러지를 사용한 친환경 소재 생산 방법은, 규사 슬러지에 흡착 성능을 가지는 소취 코팅제를 코팅하여 규사 슬러지 소취제를 제조함과 동시에 규사 슬러지에 포함되어 있는 철 삼가 이온(Fe3+)을 치환하여 제거하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
