The present invention relates to novel compounds of formula (I) suitable e.g. as therapeutic agents for use in the treatment of mammalian disease and in particular to novel therapeutic agents suitable for use in the treatment of microbial infection in mammals. The present invention further relates to the use of pharmaceutical compositions comprising said agents in the treatment of medical conditions in mammals, in particular in the treatment of microbial infection. The agents and pharmaceutical compositions of the invention are of particular relevance in the treatment of diseases associated with antibiotic-resistant microbes. The present invention also relates to processes for making said agents.La présente invention concerne de nouveaux composés de formule (I) qui peuvent convenir par exemple comme agents thérapeutiques pour une utilisation dans le traitement de maladies chez le mammifère, et en particulier de nouveaux agents thérapeutiques qui peuvent convenir pour une utilisation dans le traitement d'une infection microbienne chez le mammifère. La présente invention concerne en outre l'utilisation de compositions pharmaceutiques comprenant lesdits agents dans le traitement d'états pathologiques chez le mammifère, en particulier dans le traitement d'une infection microbienne. Les agents et compositions pharmaceutiques de l'invention sont d'un intérêt particulier dans le traitement de maladies associées à des microbes résistants aux antibiotiques. La présente invention concerne aussi des procédés pour la fabrication dedits agents.
