PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muscle enhancing composition high in muscle enhancing action and including components for which the occurence of side effects are reduced.SOLUTION: The muscle enhancing composition comprises two or more components selected from the group consisting of β-hydroxy-β-methylbutyric acid and/or a salt thereof, red wine and extract thereof, black ginger and extract thereof, and ornithine and a salt thereof. The present invention is expected to be effective not only for the improvement, alleviation, recovery, treatment, or prevention of reduced muscle function such as a decrease in muscle mass, muscle breakdown, muscle fatigue, and decreased exercise capacity, and for various symptoms and diseases caused by reduced muscle function such as sarcopenia, osteoporosis, wrinkles, sagging, but also for increasing muscle mass, muscle strength, getting in shape, body tightening, slimming, and for efficient nutritional intake during training.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明の目的は、筋肉増強作用が高く、かつ、副作用の生じることが低減された成分を含有する筋肉増強用組成物を提供することにある。【解決手段】上記目的は、β-ヒドロキシ-β-メチル酪酸及び/又はその塩と、赤ワイン及びその抽出物、黒ショウガ及びその抽出物、並びにオルニチン及びその塩からなる群から選ばれる2種以上の成分とを含有する、筋肉増強用組成物などにより解決される。本発明は、筋肉量の減少、筋肉の分解、筋肉疲労、運動能力の低下といった筋機能低下や該筋機能低下によってもたらされる種々の症状や疾患、例えば、サルコペニア、骨粗鬆症、皺、たるみなどを改善、緩和、回復、治療又は予防に加えて、筋肉量増大、筋力上昇、シェイプアップ、身体の引き締め、痩身、トレーニング時の効率的な栄養の摂取などの効果が期待できる。【選択図】図1
