A tourniquet device (1400) includes a tourniquet strap (1404) having an outward facing surface (1407) and an inward facing surface (1408), the outward facing surface being covered with a plurality of hook fasteners (1410), the inward facing surface (1408) having a section that is provided with a plurality of loop fasteners (1423), a first end (1412) and a second end (1414), the first end comprising a buckle (1416), the second end (1414) having a cavity (1424), and a securement strap configured for storage within the cavity, the securement strap (1406) including a terminal end (1426) that includes a pull tab (1428), the securement strap is configured to be selectively placed in a stored position and a deployed position.
