Polymeric micelle - phthalocyanine nano-systems are useful as therapeutic, diagnostic, and theranostic (therapeutic and diagnostic) nano-systems for photodynamic therapy and/or fluorescence-based imaging. In particular, there is provided a composition comprising polymeric micelles as a nanocarrier and one or more molecules of a phthalocyanine as a payload, wherein the phthalocyanine is of the formula (I) in which R1-R8 and Ra and Rb are as defined. The invention also provides certain groups of phthalocyanines of general formula (I) that are also novel.La présente invention concerne des nanosystèmes polymères micelle-phtalocyanine utiles en tant que nano-systèmes thérapeutiques, diagnostiques et théranostiques (thérapeutiques et diagnostiques) pour la thérapie photodynamique et/ou l'imagerie par fluorescence. En particulier, l'invention concerne une composition comprenant des micelles polymères comme nanosupport et une ou plusieurs molécules d'une phtalocyanine comme charge utile, la phtalocyanine étant représentée par la formule (I) dans laquelle R1-R8 et Ra et Rb sont tels que définis. L'invention concerne également certains groupes de phtalocyanines de formule générale (I) qui sont également nouveaux.
