PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incubator capable of preventing the physical condition of a newborn inside a newborn housing chamber from easily becoming unhealthy and enabling a treating person to quickly and efficiently execute treatment to the newborn inside the newborn housing chamber.
SOLUTION: The incubator is provided with a treatment door support 48 for lowering and elevating left and right side treatment doors 22 along left and right side treatment windows 33 so as to open and close the left and right side treatment windows 33 by the left and right side treatment doors 22. An impact generated when the left and right side treatment doors 22 stop lowering and elevation is smaller than that in the case of free turning. Also, when the left and right side treatment windows 33 are opened, the inner surfaces of the left and right side treatment doors 22 are not turned to the outer part of the incubator 11. Further, the need of a space for the turning radius of the left and right side treatment doors 22 between the incubator and an adjacent incubator or other apparatuses or the like is eliminated.
