A flexible dermal patch (414) is disclosed for a topical nerve stimulator system. The flexible dermal patch (414) is configured to be adhered to the dermis of user and to stimulate one or more nerves of the user in proximity to the patch (414). The dermal patch comprises one or more electrodes (408)； an internal power supply (412)； an electrical stimulus generator (404) which provides electrical stimulus via the electrode(s) (408)； an antenna (410)； and a remote electrical signal activation device (1000). The components of the flexible dermal patch (414) are each integrated within the dermal patch (414)； and the antenna (410) enables a user to activate the electrical stimulus generator (404) from a remote location. Integration may be via a system-on-chip circuit (400) including a nerve feedback sensor (406). Alternatively, the nerve feedback sensor (406) is provided remote from the flexible dermal patch (414).
