PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planting unit that can solve such problems in the prior art that moisture supply control cannot be accurately performed and the supply amount is often excessive to waste water or to cause the root rot of plants, and a discharge line of moisture by rainwater or irrigation is imperfect to cause retention of water around the roots of the plants beyond need to thereby tend to impede healthy growth, and furthermore the construction of an irrigation system in the planting unit cannot be easily and quickly performed and the maintenance and management of the irrigation system are not easy.SOLUTION: The planting unit formed of a casing opened upward to grow plants in a planting layer includes water retaining sections for supplying moisture to the planting layer drain sections for discharging surplus water in the planting layer by rainwater or irrigation and a water supply tray that holds an irrigation pipe and has a water discharge part for diffusing water to the water retaining sections through the planting layer at the upper part.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】従来技術における以下の課題を解決できる植栽ユニットを実現する。イ: 水分の供給制御を適確に実行することができず、往々にして供給量が過多となり水を浪費し、あるいは植物の根腐れが生じる。ロ: 雨水や潅水による水分の排出経路が不完全で水が必要以上に植物の根回りに滞留し健全な生育を阻害しやすい。ハ: 植栽ユニットにおける潅水系統の施工が容易迅速に行うことができず、また潅水系統の保守管理容易ではない。【解決手段】上部開口する筐体からなり植栽層において植物を生育させる植栽ユニットであって、植栽層へ水分を供給する保水部と、雨水あるいは潅水による植栽層における余剰水を排出する排水部と、潅水パイプを保持するとともに前記保水部へその上部の植栽層を介して水を放散するための吐水部を有する給水トレーとを具える植栽ユニットを提供して上記課題を解決する。【選択図】 図1
