An ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus and a method for generating an ultrasound image are disclosed. The ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus generates a first image representing the texture of an object and a second image representing a contrast agent applied to the object based on an echo signal reflected from the object, generates a third image in which at least a part of the tissue is removed from the second image using the first image, and displays the generated third image. So, contrast images with enhanced contrast of blood vessels and tissues can be generated.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017대상체로부터 반사된 에코 신호 (echo signal) 에 기초하여 상기 대상체의 조직을 나타내는 제1 영상 및 상기 대상체에게 투입된 조영제를 나타내는 제2 영상을 생성하고, 상기 제1 영상을 이용하여 상기 제2 영상에서 상기 조직의 적어도 일부가 제거된 제3 영상을 생성하고, 상기 생성된 제3 영상을 디스플레이하기 위한 초음파 진단 장치 및 초음파 영상 생성 방법이 개시된다.
