PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable clothing article capable of preventing leakage of excretory substance when disposing a diaper.SOLUTION: A diaper 10 as a disposable clothing article: has a longitudinal direction Y and a lateral direction X, a skin surface and a non-skin surface in an opposite side thereof； includes a front waist area 13, a back waist area 14, and a crotch area 15 located between the front/back waist areas 13 and 14； and includes a waist opening 21 delimited by connecting side edge parts 13c and 14c of the front/back waist areas 13 and 14 to each other, and a pair of leg openings 22. At least one waist area of the front/back waist areas 13 and 14 has a pair of tape fasteners 66 fitted to the non-skin surfaces of the side edge parts 13c and 14c. At least the one waist area of the front/back waist areas 13 and 14 has a pocket 30 being openable to the crotch area 15 side of the skin surface.
