PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a training agent reducing pain associated with training although allowing a small animal to sense bitter taste effective for training in regard to a training agent presenting bitter taste and containing methyl hesperidin as a main component.SOLUTION: The training agent is prepared as a water-soluble liquid medicine of pH 2.0-4.0 by adding 5-20 ppm of saccharin or/and 10-50 ppm of glycyrrhetinic acid to 10-100 ppm of methyl hesperidin.
