The present invention relates to the use of a composition comprising a fixed combination ofa) formoterol, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof or a solvate of such a salt； andb) beclomethasone dipropionate；for the manufacture of a medicament for use in the prevention or treatment of an acute condition of asthma, intermittent asthma and/or episodes in chronic asthma, more preferably in the rescue treatment of asthma, and in particular in case of acute exacerbations during the maintenance therapy of asthma.Mevcut buluş, aşağıda belirtilen maddelerin sabit bir kombinasyonunu içeren bir bileşimin kullanımı ile ilgili olup； bu maddeler arasında: a) formoterol, farmakolojik olarak kabul edilebilir tuz ya da bununla ilgili solvat veya bu türden bir tuz içeren solvat； ile b) beklometason dipropionat yer almaktadır； yukarıda belirtilen bileşim ve maddeler astım alevlenmelerinin önlenmesi ve/veya tedavisi, intermitan astım tedavisi ve/veya gerekli olduğunda semptomların giderilmesinde aynı bileşimle birlikte astıma yönelik idame tedavisi süresince kronik astımda epizodların iyileştirilmesinde kullanıma yöneliktir.
