An absorbent article (1) which is provided with a liquid permeable sheet (3), a liquid impermeable sheet (9), and an absorbent body (11), and which has a thickness direction (T) and a planar direction (P), is characterized in that: the absorbent article (1) is provided with a drug disposed layer (15) in which a lipophilic drug (13) is disposed in the absorbent body (11) from the liquid permeable sheet (3)； the absorbent article (1) is provided, in a drug disposed region (17) overlapping the drug disposed layer (15) in the thickness direction (T), with a drug disposed layer compressed portion (21) comprising a compressed main body portion (25) in which at least the drug disposed layer (15) is compressed, and a compression adjacent portion (31) which is adjacent to the compressed main body portion (25) and in which the drug disposed layer (15) is not compressed； and a basis weight: BW1 of the lipophilic drug (13) in the compressed main body portion (25) and a basis weight: BW2 of the lipophilic drug (13) in the compression adjacent portion (31) satisfy the relational expression: BW1<；BW2.
