PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous bactericide and antibacterial composition preventing a color change due to reduction of a silver ion or the like by an influence by irradiation of UV rays, preventing deposition or sedimentation of a compound containing the silver ion due to a chloride ion or the like, and having high viscosity.SOLUTION: The aqueous bactericide and antibacterial composition contains a silver-histidine complex and has a pH of 9.5 to 13 and a viscosity of ≥500 mPa s.
