PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grass cutter effectively preventing scatter of cut grass without using an unnecessarily large scatter-prevention cover to reduce weight of the cutter, preventing rolling of an edge of the scatter-prevention cover with a rotary blade to prevent damage of the scatter-prevention cover, and preventing interruption of grass cutting work caused by rolling of the edge of the scatter-prevention cover with the rotary blade.
SOLUTION: The grass cutter is provided with a shaft, the blade and the scatter-prevention cover, wherein a lower end of the scatter-prevention cover is connected to the shaft with a wire to prevent rolling of the lower edge of the scatter-prevention cover with the blade.
