A method forproducing a substantially isolated neural cell, comprising the step ofcarrying outthe suspension culture of embryonic stem cells in the presence of an astrocyteconditioned medium or ingredients substantially equivalent to the conditionedmedium； and a neural cell obtained thereby； a cell pharmaceutical compositioncomprising, as an active ingredient, the isolated neural stem cell； and amethodfor treating a neurodegenerative disease or nervous damage, comprising thestepof introducing the neural cell into a neurodegenerative site or a nervousdamagesite.
