PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for efficiently performing image observation by a diagnostic reader.SOLUTION: An already reproduced image storage unit 66 stores information on an endoscopic image having been reproduced and displayed by a reproduction processing unit 48. A display image determination unit 44, when a change operation with respect to a display image is accepted by an operation acceptance unit 42, refers to information stored in the already reproduced image storage unit 66 to determine an endoscopic image to be displayed. An image display unit 46 displays the display image determined by the display image determination unit 44.
