PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide porous and injectable/flowable orthopedic implants for replacement or augmentation of damaged bones and joints.SOLUTION: A bone replacement filler comprising a biomedical ceramic particulate is capable of flowing without application of an external shear stress or compressive force or under a relatively low shear stress or compressive force, but resists flowing or does not flow when subjected to a higher shear stress or compressive force. At least some of particles in the ceramic particulate have a micro-porous surface structure and/or a micro-porous sub-surface structure. The ceramic particulate is substantially composed of spherical particles, and the ceramic particulate has a particle size distribution in which at least 90% of the particles are from 0.05 to 10 mm in equivalent circular diameter.【課題】損傷した骨や関節の置換又は増強のための多孔性かつ注入可能性／流動性ありである整形外科用インプラントの提供。【解決手段】生物医学的セラミック粒状物を含む骨置換充填材であって、この充填材は、外部からの剪断応力若しくは圧縮力の付与なしで、又は比較的低い剪断応力若しくは圧縮力の下で流れることができるが、より高い剪断応力又は圧縮力を受けた場合は流れにくい、又は流れず、セラミック粒状物中の粒子の少なくとも一部は、微孔性表面構造及び／又は微孔性表面下構造を有する、骨置換充填材。該セラミック粒状物が実質的に球状粒子で構成され、少なくとも９０％の粒子が０．０５～１０ｍｍの等円径である粒子分布を有する。【選択図】なし
