The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention or treatment of glaucoma, wherein the pharmaceutical composition includes angiogenin or a fragment thereof as an active ingredient. Angiogenin or a fragment thereof according to the present invention activates aqueous humor outflow due to NO generation increase, Schlemms canal expansion, and intercellular interval widening, thereby reducing intraocular pressure.
