An absorbent article (1) is provided with a body (5) of the absorbent article having at least a top sheet portion (2), which is liquid-permeable at least in a part thereof and located in one side in the direction thickness of the absorbent article, and a liquid retainable absorbent portion (4), which is located in the other side of the top sheet portion (2) in the direction thickness as described above, and a belt-shaped member (10) which is located in the abovedescribed other side in the direction thickness of the body (5) of the absorbent article (1) along the longitudinal direction LD (MD) of the body (5), wherein one end side of the belt-shaped member (10) in the longitudinal direction LD (MD) is bonded to the body (5) of the absorbent article (1).
