PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope device for notifying an operator of an abnormal state that has arisen in an insertion part inserted in a pipe.SOLUTION: The endoscope device comprises: an endoscope 2 that has a curve part 12 at the leading end side of an insertion part 2a, a joystick 22 for allowing an operation part 2b to curve the curve part 12, and a notification part 23 and a device body 3 that has a sensor detecting part 37 for extracting and outputting a curved state from a detection signal output from the curve part sensor 6 for detecting a curved state of the curve part 12, and a determination part 38 for making a comparison between the curved state of the curve part 12 and the operating state of the joystick 22. The curve part sensor 6 is a compound body of U-shaped carbon nanotube, obtained by shaping a carbon nanotube into a U shape.
