The device (100) has an insert (110) that is intended to be placed between a big toe and a second toe. A sleeve (150) is arranged integral with the insert, where the sleeve is adapted to receive the big toe. The insert extends primarily ahead of the sleeve, and the sleeve is prolonged by a cup (170) on a back side opposite to the insert. The insert has the form of an ossicle or talus including a central part of cross-section in the shape of gradually widening water drop as two-flanges of larger size.
