PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blocking detection device for an infusion pump, which can detect the blocking in an infusion tube with high accuracy even when the infusion tube varies in size and physical property.SOLUTION: A pressure plate 15 has: a pressure receiving part 26 with which the outer periphery of the infusion tube 2 depressed and deformed to nearly an oval is brought into contact a slit 24 which surrounds the periphery of the pressure receiving part 26 a peripheral part 40 which is provided along the peripheral side of the slit 24 and a membrane member 30 which connects the peripheral part 40 and the pressure receiving part 26.
