PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-in-oil type skin external preparation which comprises an ultraviolet absorber and a whitening compound having excellent light stability.SOLUTION: There is provided a water-in-oil type skin external preparation which comprises: a composite powder of titanium oxide and an ultraviolet absorber； and a whitening compound, wherein the ultraviolet absorber preferably is 4-(tert-butyl)-4'-methoxydibenzoylmethane, the whitening compound preferably is at least one selected from arbutin, ascorbic acid or an ascorbic acid derivative or a salt thereof, tranexamic acid or a tranexamic acid derivative or a salt thereof and the skin external preparation preferably contains 50 mass% or more of silicone oil based on the total mass of the oil phase excluding the composite powder and further contains at least one selected from hyaluronic acid or a salt thereof, xanthan gum and a polysaccharide produced by Alcaligenes, which are a hydrophilic thickener.SELECTED DRAWING: NoneCOPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】紫外線吸収剤と美白化合物とを含有し、且つ、美白化合物の光安定性に優れた油中水型皮膚外用剤の提供。【解決手段】酸化チタン及び紫外線吸収剤の複合粉体と、美白化合物と、を含有する油中水型皮膚外用剤。該紫外線吸収剤としては、４－ｔｅｒｔ－ブチル－４'－メトキシジベンゾイルメタンであることが好ましく、該美白化合物としては、アルブチン、アスコルビン酸若しくはアスコルビン酸誘導体又はそれらの塩、及びトラネキサム酸若しくはトラネキサム酸誘導体又はそれらの塩から選ばれる少なくとも１種であることが好ましく、該皮膚外用剤には、複合粉体を除く油相の全質量に対してシリコーン油が５０質量％以上含まれることが好ましく、該皮膚外用剤には、親水性増粘剤であるヒアルロン酸又はその塩、キサンタンガム、及びアルカリゲネス産生多糖体から選ばれる少なくとも１種が更に含まれることが好ましい油中水型皮膚外用剤。【選択図】なし
