Packing unit comprises: housing, made so as to at least partially accommodate multiple drug delivery devices; a cover connected to the body and movable between an open position and a closed position; a countdown timer configured to track time remaining before the scheduled time; a sensor configured to output a signal indicative of a change in the position of the cover from the closed position to the open position; and initial value input device; light-sensitive sensor configured to detect the amount of light incident on the packaging assembly; open door timer configured to trigger, in response to recording, that light intensity incident on the packaging unit, measured by the light sensor, exceeds the threshold light intensity. At that, the packing unit is arranged with the possibility of repeated installation of the planned time in response to the user control by the initial value input device.
