PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooked rice feeder capable of feeding cooked rice uniformly to each of the containers, even having a deviated distribution of the cooked rice in a charging hopper when the containers are charged with the cooked rice.SOLUTION: In the case that a sensor on the right side detects the state in "absence of cooked rice" and a sensor on the left side detects the state in "presence of cooked rice", the drive of an agitation part 31UL on the left side alone is stopped, with an agitation part 31UR on the right side being driven. The cooked rice is thereby fed to the right side, achieving feeding of cooked rice equally on both sides. In contrast, in the case that a sensor on the left side detects the state in "absence of cooked rice" and a sensor on the right side detects the state in "presence of cooked rice", the drive of the agitation part 31UR on the right side alone is stopped, with the agitation part 31UL on the left side being driven.
