PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel capable of preventing falling of an adjustment knob.SOLUTION: A fishing reel of the invention comprises: a spool a power transmission mechanism a rotary shaft which rotates in linkage with the spool which rotates by feeding a fishing line in a fishing line discharge state and a spool brake mechanism 30 for braking rotation of the spool and applying resistance to the rotary shaft. The spool brake mechanism 30 comprises: a brake part 31 coming into contact with the rotary shaft and applying resistance to the rotary shaft an adjustment knob 33 for pressing the brake part 31 to the rotary shaft side a support part 32 to which the adjustment knob 33 is screwed and which supports the adjustment knob 33 and an elastic part 34 interposed between the adjustment knob 33 and the support part 32, and applying resistance to the adjustment knob 33.
