PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator that makes warm mist and cold mist easily reach their respective target positions.SOLUTION: A mist generator 1 includes: a warm mist generating part for generating warm mist from water a cold mist generating part for generating cold mist from water a warm mist nozzle 21 for spraying the warm mist and a cold mist nozzle 22 for spraying cold mist. The warm mist has a characteristic of flowing more upward as its spraying distance increases while the cold mist has a characteristic of flowing more downward as its spraying distance increases. Thus, the warm mist and cold mist have different characteristics. Therefore, in the mist generator 1, taking the characteristics of warm and cold mist flow characteristics into consideration, the orientation of the warm mist nozzle 21 and the orientation of the cold mist nozzle 22 are set to be different from each other so that the warm mist and cold mist can reach their respective target positions.
