PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod capable of minimizing a water-exposed portion to prevent the deterioration in the adhesive force of an adhesive in excellent productivity.SOLUTION: The fishing rod has a thin flat tip section 2 and a solid bar-like connection member 10 which is engaged with the base end portion 3 of the tip section 2 and is detachably inserted into an attaching hole 5 formed in the tip end portion of a rear side member.
