Disclosed is a power transmission device for a direct seeder, the device comprising: an operating unit having one end which is axially coupled with the side surface of a frame of the direct seeder to be capable of rotation； a plunger which is supported by means of the frame so as to push the other end of the operating unit to a tractor wheel and separate the same therefrom； a driving wheel which is installed on the other end of the operating unit to be capable of rotation and is rotated along with the wheel when coming in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the tractor wheel； a power transmission member including a driver which is installed on the other end of the operating unit to be capable of rotation so as to be co-axially formed with the driving wheel and is rotated by means of the rotary power of the driving wheel, a follower which is installed on one end of the operating unit to be capable of rotation, and a first connecting unit which connects the driver and follower so as to transfer the rotation power of the driver to the follower； and a power connecting member which transfers the rotation power of the follower to a drive shaft of the seeding unit.
